Established originally in Tasman, Australia in 1980s. Rock Rooster started off as a leather shoes manufacture, but soon after discovered the market demand for high quality personal protective footwear for loggers, farmers, miners,etc. Since then Rock Rooster has strived to produce top quality footwear that protect your feet, while keeping it comfortable at a affordable price.
Today, combined with the over 30-year legacy of leather boots, more than 10 years of work boots experience, results in building on its commitment to footwear producing for the modern workers and outdoor hikers.
Back in 1986 our founder started the company as a handmade leather shoe store and cobbler for the local farmers and miners. From this experience we quickly learned the need of the workers and their desire for durable and comfortable footwear that can both protect their foot and keeping them dry and energetic after a long days work.
In the 1990s with experience and high quality leather sourced locally in Tasmania we thrived locally and begin the expansion. The world was just starting to connect and international business was booming, we soon became contract manufacture for big name brands both in Australia and Internal.
As we mature and grow and hone our techniques the idea of having a brand name of our own, an opportunity to present our values, ideas and our passion for footwear to the world. That day RockRooster Footwear was born.
In the distant land of Australia human simply blends into nature and we often have wildlife wondering into the factory ground. Among them is a type of Tasmanian native rooster with their strong and sturdy claw that clutch the ground and allow them to go up cliff like walking up stairs.
To this day, Rock Rooster is now being sold in 37 different countries 5 continents, North America, Asia, Africa, Europe and Australia. And we have gone beyond making simple durable, sturdy leather shoes. We now have 6 lines of works boots and outdoor hiking boots collections focusing on fashion, durability, comfort and Anti-fatigue.
